Programs at Lighthouse Ranch Equine Center
"Empowering individuals through equine-assisted therapy and learning."
About Our Programs
Equine-assisted therapy creates a space where healing happens through connection—not just conversation. In the presence of horses, individuals are able to let their guard down, reconnect with themselves, and experience growth in a natural, grounded way. Horses don’t judge, they don’t label—they respond. Their ability to mirror emotions allows clients to see themselves clearly, often for the first time. This makes equine-assisted work especially powerful for those facing anxiety, trauma, PTSD, autism, or disconnection from self and others.

Equine-Assisted Activities & Learning
Lighthouse Ranch Equine Therapy Center (LRETC) offers equine-assisted learning and activities that provide hands-on experiences with horses to promote personal growth, confidence, communication, teamwork, leadership, and life skills. Through structured, non-clinical activities in a safe and supportive environment, participants develop practical skills while building meaningful connections with horses. These services are educational and recreational in nature and are designed for individuals, families, schools, youth groups, and community organizations.
